A leisurely walking tour of the beautiful French Quarter highlights the stately St. Louis Cathedral. Then, board the Steamboat Natchez for a river cruise from the heart of the French Quarter. Your cruise takes you back to a time when cotton was king and life was as slow and graceful as the current on the Mississippi.. The remainder of your day is at leisure. (B, L) |

Today you have the opportunity to spend time giving back to the people of New Orleans by participating in a special service project. Or, you may choose to discover New Orleans your way with an entire day at leisure. Ask about taking an optional excursion that includes a visit to Mardi Gras World, followed by a delicious dinner at a local restaurant and ending with a narrated carriage ride through the French Quarter. (B) |
